Peaks & Cactus is a collection designed, created and produced by Kishboo and a collaboration between some more designers/makers. A great combination of makers, Kishboo works on illustrations and screenprinting and A Medias Tintas Encuadernación applies her knowledge in hand bookbinding.

Idea: During a screenprinting workshop that I was involved in Fine Arts School, and my lately big interest on plants, specially cactus and terrariums, the desert, high desert peaks… «Peaks and Cactus» was born, It was impossible not to create something with a new idea. I started drawing illustrations and working on this collection. It has been a challenge using new materials as fabric, leather and paper.

Each piece is made of genuine leather from Spain, completly handmade screenprinting, sewing and bookbinding. It’s made in Spain con mucho amor.

We make … Little purses  you can use it for coins, credit cards and even keys. Hand clutch that you can use everytime and even you can put it in your shoulder bag and fill it with all you have in, phone, notebook, keys …

It’s a limited edition and we hope we can make more with new prints and leathers waiting to be used.

So far the illustrations available are: Chumberas (typical in south spain), Higos chumbos (who don’t know these little red cacti fruits?),Arizona Cacti (If you think in cacti… which one comes into your mind?) and Peaks (high high mountain peaks)
